Ashingdon Youth Football Club is a Charter Standard Club

 

Ashingdon Youth Football Club, formally Ashingdon Boys Football Club, was founded in 1972 and the Club is a well-established community based voluntary organisation which has a good reputation for its standards and the manner in which it treats its members. 

 

The Club serves the community by providing youngsters, mainly from the Ashingdon, Hawkwell and Rochford area, with the opportunity to participate in football activities between the ages of 7 to Under 18 years regardless of race, colour, and religion or gender orientation.  Its objective is the provision of facilities for youngster to participate in sporting activities regardless of ability.

 

The Club is affiliated to Essex County FA, the National Association of Clubs for Young People and the Essex Association of Boys and Girls Club. As part of the mandatory requirements for Youth Football, the Club has 5 v 5, 7 v 7, 9 v 9 and 11 v 11 pitches. 

 

At the ground there is a Refreshment Bar serving hot food, teas, coffees and sweets; there are Changing Room facilities, Toilet block and a large car park with easy access off Cherry Orchard Way into the Cherry Orchard Lane ground.

Access to the ground is Cherry Orchard Lane which is a single track road and drivers attending the ground are asked to drive slowly and exercise caution for residents and other road users.
