AYFC Golf Society

The Society was formed in 2004 & is open to all Club members, regardless of ability.  

The Society welcomes New Members, it is only a £10 joining fee, and we promise a great friendly atmosphere. 

The idea is for AYFC Members to meet friends from other teams in the club, have a game of golf,

 and enjoy some great food and all at a reasonable cost. 

We normally play at Top Meadow Golf Club, N. Ockendon, and we hold two golf days, for the Summer

and Winter Shields. 

On the 29th February 2008, the Winter Shield competition took place at Top Meadow Golf Club, North

Ockendon, & 16 players thoroughly enjoyed the competition, the great food and the hospitality afforded

by the Clubhouse staff. 

The winner of the Winter Shield was Kevin Mundy, runner up Andy Weaver.  Nearest the Pin was Wayne Toovey, Longest Drive was Ray Cracknell, & ‘most golf walked’ prize went to Brian Brazier; the Yellow Ball competition winners were Team ‘C’, Dave Goody, Jason Stringer, Dave Wotton & Simon Watson.
